This is such a deep conversation that I could honestly talk about for multiple hours, but for sake of time, the main topics we will cover are:
What the new-age is, where it came from, and what the core principles and practices are.
Which new-age practices are absolutely off-limits to you as a follower of Christ (& all the reasons WHY!)
How to spot new-age in your church or community.
How to minister to those you love who are engaging new-age beliefs and practices, whether or not they are followers of Christ.
The class will be about 90 minutes of teaching followed by about 30 minutes for live questions to be answered. The class will be recorded and the replay will be sent to anyone who registers ahead of time.

About the Instructor
When I studied ancient Egypt and Roman mythology in my 8th grade history class, something came alive in me. The way these cultures interlaced with deeply spiritual worldviews and experiences enchanted me.
In college, I lived in one of the most haunted cities in America. After countless nights of paranormal activity and seeking help from the local Christian community to no avail, the only real answers I got were found in the teachings of the New-Age.

When Jesus found me, I was no longer looking for Him.
He opened my eyes to the Truth of how He designed reality, and that profoundly changed me, but I have been quiet about my experience in the new-age since being saved, seeking God to give me proper understanding of it all.
I have watched many people in the "new-age to Jesus" community swing from one extreme to the other as they left the occult behind and entered into either legalistic or hyper-charismatic Christian denominations.
Because of this, I have desired to only speak out about the new-age if/when God gave me a grounded perspective.
I don't know everything, but I believe the Lord has answered my prayer for a mature understanding that can be shared from a sober perspective as both a warning and encouragement to my fellow siblings in Christ.
