But what does "drawing near to Him" look like for you, practically?
In my experience, "drawing near" is less about the things you "do" and way more about the state of your heart.
You can be doing all the "right things":
Daily devotionals
Time for prayer
An hour in worship every day
Bible when you wake and before you sleep...
...but if your heart is guarded toward Him, "doing" more won't bring you closer.
Tools are helpful, absolutely! But they aren't the full picture.
That's why my approach in mentorship is NOT another set of "disciplines" to apply to your Christian life.
My approach helps you reach a place of deep, genuine trust and peace with God.
So instead, we will focus on things like:
Resolving the areas where you struggle to trust God
Removing the lies (about Him and/or yourself) that have been planted in your heart
Breaking down any defense mechanisms you've built that act as barriers to intimacy
Cultivating a holy, healthy, and strong bond in the Holy Spirit
